  1. Surely those who disbelieve, it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them, will not believe.

  2. Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and as a warner, and you shall not be called upon to answer for the companions of the flaming fire.

  3. (All) people are a single nation; so Allah raised prophets as bearers of good news and as warners, and He revealed with them the Book with truth, that it might judge between people in that in which they differed; and none but the very people who were given it differed about it after clear arguments had come to them, revolting among themselves; so Allah has guided by His will those who believe to the truth about which they differed and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right path.

  4. And whatever alms you give or (whatever) vow you vow, surely Allah knows it; and the unjust shall have no helpers.

  5. When a woman of Imran said: My Lord! surely I vow to Thee what is in my womb, to be devoted (to Thy service); accept therefore from me, surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.

  6. (We sent) messengers as the givers of good news and as warners, so that people should not have a plea against Allah after the (coming of) messengers; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

  7. O followers of the Book! indeed Our Messenger has come to you explaining to you after a cessation of the (mission of the) messengers, lest you say: There came not to us a giver of good news or a warner, so indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a warner; and Allah has power over all things.

  8. Say: What thing is the weightiest in testimony? Say: Allah is witness between you and me; and this Quran has been revealed to me that with it I may warn you and whomsoever it reaches. Do you really bear witness that there are other gods with Allah? Say: I do not bear witness. Say: He is only one Allah, and surely I am clear of that which you set up (with Him).

  9. And We send not messengers but as announcers of good news and givers of warning, then whoever believes and acts aright, they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.

  10. And warn with it those who fear that they shall be gathered to their Lord-- there is no guardian for them, nor any intercessor besides Him-- that they may guard (against evil).

  11. And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed, verifying that which is before it, and that you may warn the metropolis and those around her; and those who believe in the hereafter believe in it, and they attend to their prayers constantly.

  12. O assembly of jinn and men! did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My communications and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: We bear witness against ourselves; and this world's life deceived them, and they shall bear witness against their own souls that they were unbelievers.

  13. A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers.

  14. What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you?

  15. What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you that he might warn you? And remember when He made you successors after Nuh's people and increased you in excellence in respect of make; therefore remember the benefits of Allah, that you may be successful.

  16. Do they not reflect that their companion has not unsoundness in mind; he is only a plain warner.

  17. Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe.

  18. And it does not beseem the believers that they should go forth all together; why should not then a company from every party from among them go forth that they may apply themselves to obtain understanding in religion, and that they may warn their people when they come back to them that they may be cautious?

  19. What! is it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among themselves, saying: Warn the people and give good news to those who believe that theirs is a footing of firmness with their Lord. The unbelievers say: This is most surely a manifest enchanter.

  20. But they rejected him, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We made them rulers and drowned those who rejected Our communications; see then what was the end of the (people) warned.

  21. Say: Consider what is it that is in the heavens and the earth; and signs and warners do not avail a people who would not believe.

  22. That you shall not serve (any) but Allah; surely I am a warner for you from Him and a giver of good news,

  23. Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your breast will become straitened by it because they say: Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are only a warner; and Allah is custodian over all things.

  24. And certainly We sent Nuh to his people: Surely I am a plain warner for you:

  25. And those who disbelieve say: Why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his Lord? You are only a warner and (there is) a guide for every people.

  26. And warn people of the day when the chastisement shall come to them, then those who were unjust will say: O our Lord! respite us to a near term, (so) we shall respond to Thy call and follow the messengers. What! did you not swear before (that) there will be no passing away for you!

  27. This is a sufficient exposition for the people and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One Allah and that those possessed of understanding may mind.

  28. And say: Surely I am the plain warner.

  29. He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me.

  30. And with truth have We revealed it, and with truth did it come; and We have not sent you but as the giver of good news and as a warner.

  31. Rightly directing, that he might give warning of severe punishment from Him and give good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a goodly reward,

  32. And warn those who say: Allah has taken a son.

  33. And We do not send messengers but as givers of good news and warning, and those who disbelieve make a false contention that they may render null thereby the truth, and they take My communications and that with which they are warned for a mockery.

  34. So eat and drink and refresh the eye. Then if you see any mortal, say: Surely I have vowed a fast to the Beneficent Allah, so I shall not speak to any man today.

  35. And warn them of the day of intense regret, when the matter shall have been decided; and they are (now) in negligence and they do not believe.

  36. So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people.

  37. Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.

  38. Then let them accomplish their needful acts of shaving and cleansing, and let them fulfil their vows and let them go round the Ancient House.

  39. Say: O people! I am only a plain warner to you.

  40. Blessed is He Who sent down the Furqan upon His servant that he may be a warner to the nations;

  41. And they say: What is the matter with this Messenger that he eats food and goes about in the markets; why has not an angel been sent down to him, so that he should have been a warner with him?

  42. And if We had pleased We would certainly have raised a warner in every town.

  43. And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner.

  44. I am naught but a plain warner.

  45. And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned.

  46. Upon your heart that you may be of the warners

  47. And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners,

  48. And warn your nearest relations,

  49. And We rained on them a rain, and evil was the rain of those who had been warned.

  50. And that I should recite the Quran. Therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright for his own soul, and whoever goes ' astray, then say: I am only one of the warners.

  51. And you were not on this side of the mountain when We called, but a mercy from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you, that they may be mindful.

  52. And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.

  53. Or do they say: He has forged it? Nay! it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction.

  54. O Prophet! surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of good news and as a warner,

  55. And We have not sent you but to all the men as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most men do not know.

  56. And We never sent a warner to a town but those who led lives in ease in it said: We are surely disbelievers in what you are sent with.

  57. And We have not given them any books which they read, nor did We send to them before you a warner.

  58. Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement.

  59. And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another and if one weighed down by burden should cry for (another to carry) its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for (the good of) his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

  60. You are naught but a warner.

  61. Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them.

  62. And they shall cry therein for succour: O our Lord ! take us out, we will do good deeds other than those which we used to do. Did We not preserve you alive long enough, so that he who would be mindful in it should mind? And there came to you the warner; therefore taste; because for the unjust, there is no helper.

  63. And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that if there came to them a warner they would be better guided than any of the nations; but when there came to them a warner it increased them in naught but aversion.

  64. That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.

  65. And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe.

  66. You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward.

  67. That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers.

  68. And certainly We sent among them warners.

  69. Then see how was the end of those warned,

  70. But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones.

  71. And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This IS an enchanter, a liar.

  72. Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all):

  73. Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner.

  74. And those who disbelieve shall be driven to hell in companies; until, when they come to it, its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Did not there come to you messengers from among you reciting to you the communications of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: Yea! But the sentence of punishment was due against the unbelievers.

  75. Possessor of the highest rank, Lord of power: He makes the inspiration to light by His command upon whom He pleases of His servants, that he may warn (men) of the day of meeting.

  76. And warn them of the day that draws near, when hearts shall rise up to the throats, grieving inwardly; the unjust shall not have any compassionate friend nor any intercessor who should be obeyed.

  77. A herald of good news and a warner, but most of them turn aside so they hear not.

  78. But if they turn aside, then say: I have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of Ad and Samood.

  79. And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Quran, that you may warn the mother city and those around it, and that you may give warning of the day of gathering together wherein is no doubt; a party shall be in the garden and (another) party in the burning fire.

  80. And thus, We did not send before you any warner in a town, but those who led easy lives in it said: Surely we found our fathers on a course, and surely we are followers of their footsteps.

  81. Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning--

  82. We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two save with truth and (for) an appointed term; and those who disbelieve turn aside from what they are warned of.

  83. Say: I am not the first of the messengers, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you: I do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.

  84. And before it the Book of Musa was a guide and a mercy: and this is a Book verifying (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good.

  85. And mention the brother of Ad; when he warned his people in the sandy plains,-- and indeed warners came before him and after him-- saying Serve none but Allah; surely I fear for you the punishment of a grievous day.

  86. And when We turned towards you a party of the jinn who listened to the Quran; so when they came to it, they said: Be silent; then when it was finished, they turned back to their people warning (them).

  87. Surely We have sent you as a witness and as a bearer of good news and as a warner,

  88. Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing:

  89. Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him.

  90. And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him.

  91. This is a warner of the warners of old.

  92. Consummate wisdom-- but warnings do not avail;

  93. How (great) was then My punishment and My warning!

  94. Ad treated (the truth) as a lie, so how (great) was My punishment and My warning!

  95. How (great) was then My punishment and My warning!

  96. Samood rejected the warning.

  97. How (great) was then My punishment and My warning!

  98. The people of Lut treated the warning. as a lie.

  99. And certainly he warned them of Our violent seizure, but they obstinately disputed the warning.

  100. And certainly they endeavored to turn him from his guests, but We blinded their eyes; so taste My chastisement and My warning.
