أَرْسَلْنَآ

Appears 8 times in the Quran. (Root: رسل)
  1. Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them messengers; whenever there came to them an messenger with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew.

  2. And certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you then We seized them with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves.

  3. By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you, but the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he is their guardian today, and they shall have a painful punishment.

  4. So she took a veil (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our spirit, and there appeared to her a well-made man.

  5. And certainly We sent to Samood their brother Salih, saying: Serve Allah; and lo! they became two sects quarrelling with each other.

  6. And We have not given them any books which they read, nor did We send to them before you a warner.

  7. When We sent to them two, they rejected both of them, then We strengthened (them) with a third, so they said: Surely we are messengers to you.

  8. Surely We have sent to you a Messenger, a witness against you, as We sent a messenger to Firon.
