خَٰلِق

Appears 12 times in the Quran. (Root: خلق)
  1. That is Allah, your Lord, there is no god but He; the Creator of all things, therefore serve Him, and He has charge of all things.

  2. Say: Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?-- Say: Allah. Say: Do you take then besides Him guardians who do not control any profit or harm for themselves? Say: Are the blind and the seeing alike? Or can the darkness and the light be equal? Or have they set up with Allah associates who have created creation like His, so that what is created became confused to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Supreme.

  3. And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.

  4. Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators.

  5. O men! call to mind the favor of Allah on you; is there any creator besides Allah who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? There is no god but He; whence are you then turned away?

  6. What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators,

  7. When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust:

  8. Allah is the Creator of every thing and He has charge over every thing.

  9. That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of everything; there is no Allah but He; whence are you then turned away?

  10. Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators?

  11. Is it you that create it or are We the creators?

  12. He is Allah the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner; His are the most excellent names; whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
