أَخَذَهُمْ

26:189 فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day.
69:10 فَعَصَوْا۟ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً

And they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, so He punished them with a vehement punishment.
