جُندهُۥ

Appears 6 times in the Quran. (Root: جند)
  1. And We made the children of Israel to pass through the sea, then Firon and his hosts followed them for oppression and tyranny; until when drowning overtook him, he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit.

  2. And his hosts of the jinn and the men and the birds were gathered to him, and they were formed into groups.

  3. Until when they came to the valley of the Naml, a Namlite said: O Naml! enter your houses, (that) Sulaiman and his hosts may not crush you while they do not know.

  4. And he was unjustly proud in the land, he and his hosts, and they deemed that they would not be brought back to Us.

  5. So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust.

  6. So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea and he was blamable.
