مَسَّنِىَ

Appears 3 times in the Quran. (Root: مسس)
  1. Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe.

  2. And Ayub, when he cried to his Lord, (saying): Harm has afflicted me, and Thou art the most Merciful of the merciful.

  3. And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment.
