يَقِين

Appears 8 times in the Quran. (Root: يقن)
  1. And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the messenger of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

  2. And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain.

  3. And he tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba.

  4. Most surely this is a certain truth.

  5. And most surely it is the true certainty

  6. Till death overtook us.

  7. Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge,

  8. Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty;
