يُشْرِكُونَ

Appears 20 times in the Quran. (Root: شرك)
  1. But when He gives them a good one, thcy set up with Him associates in what He has given them; but high is Allah above what they associate (with Him).

  2. What! they associate (with Him) that which does not create any thing, while they are themselves created!

  3. They have taken their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah son of Marium and they were enjoined that they should serve one Allah only, there is no god but He; far from His glory be what they set up (with Him).

  4. And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him).

  5. Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).

  6. He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).

  7. Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo ! a party of you associate others with their Lord;

  8. And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord,

  9. The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him).

  10. Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors.

  11. Say: Praise be to Allah and peace on His servants whom He has chosen: is Allah better, or what they associate (with Him)?

  12. Or, Who guides you in utter darkness of the land and the sea, and Who sends the winds as good news before His mercy. Is there a god with Allah? Exalted by Allah above what they associate (with Him).

  13. And your Lord creates and chooses whom He pleases; to choose is not theirs; glory be to Allah, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).

  14. So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him);

  15. And when harm afflicts men, they call upon their Lord, turning to Him, then when He makes them taste of mercy from Him, lo! some of them begin to associate (others) with their Lord,

  16. Or, have We sent down upon them an authority so that it speaks of that which they associate with Him?

  17. Allah is He Who created you, then gave you sustenance, then He causes you to die, then brings you to life. Is there any of your associate-gods who does aught of it? Glory be to Him, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).

  18. And they have not honored Allah with the honor that is due to Him; and the whole earth shall be in His grip on the day of resurrection and the heavens rolled up in His right hand; glory be to Him, and may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him).

  19. Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him).

  20. He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of every greatness Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him).
