  1. Deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they will not turn back.

  2. And the parable of those who disbelieve is as the parable of one who calls out to that which hears no more than a call and a cry; deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they do not understand.

  3. And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then Allah turned to them mercifully, but many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is well seeing what they do.

  4. And they who reject Our communications are deaf and dumb, in utter darkness; whom Allah pleases He causes to err and whom He pleases He puts on the right way.

  5. Surely the vilest of animals, in Allah's sight, are the deaf, the dumb, who do not understand.

  6. And there are those of them who hear you, but can you make the deaf to hear though they will not understand?

  7. The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal in condition? Will you not then mind?

And whomsoever Allah guides, he is the follower of the right way, and whomsoever He causes to err, you shall not find for him guardians besides Him; and We will gather them together on the day of resurrection on their faces, blind and dumb and deaf; their abode is hell; whenever it becomes allayed We will add to their burning.

  9. Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.

  10. And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind.

  11. Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating.

  12. For surely you cannot, make the dead to hear and you cannot make the deaf to hear the call, when they turn back and

  13. What! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error?

  14. Those it is whom Allah has cursed so He has made them deaf and blinded their eyes.
