  1. And could you see when they are made to stand before the fire, then they shall say: Would that we were sent back, and we would not reject the communications of our Lord and we would be of the believers.

  2. And (as for) those who reject Our communications, chastisement shall afflict them because they transgressed.

  3. And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I can reveal the like of what Allah has revealed? and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands: Give up your souls; today shall you be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because you spoke against Allah other than the truth and (because) you showed pride against His communications.

  4. Or lest you should say: If the Book had been revealed to us, we would certainly have been better guided than they, so indeed there has come to you clear proof from your Lord, and guidance and mercy. Who then is more unjust than he who rejects Allah's communications and turns away from them? We will reward those who turn away from Our communications with an evil chastisement because they turned away.

  5. Who is then more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or rejects His communications? (As for) those, their portion of the Book shall reach them, until when Our messengers come to them causing them to die, they shall say: Where is that which you used to call upon besides Allah? They would say: They are gone away from us; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers

  6. But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people.

  7. So We delivered him and those with him by mercy from Us, and We cut off the last of those who rejected Our communications and were not believers.

  8. Therefore We inflicted retribution on them and drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and were heedless of them.

  9. I will turn away from My communications those who are unjustly proud in the earth; and if they see every sign they will not believe in It; and if they see the way of rectitude they do not take It for a way, and if they see the way of error. they take it for a way; this is because they rejected Our communications and were heedless of them.

  10. And (as to) those who reject Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, their deeds are null. Shall they be rewarded except for what they have done?

  11. Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our communications and are unjust to their own souls.

  12. In the manner of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected the communications of their Lord, therefore We destroyed them on account of their faults and We drowned Firon's people, and they were all unjust.

  13. But they rejected him, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We made them rulers and drowned those who rejected Our communications; see then what was the end of the (people) warned.

  14. And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers.

  15. And We helped him against the people who rejected Our communications; surely they were an evil people, so We drowned them all.

  16. Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them.

  17. So they gave him the lie, then We destroyed them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.

  18. Until when they come, He will say: Did you reject My communications while you had no comprehensive knowledge of them? Or what was it that you did?

  19. Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they | rejected the communications of Allah and used to mock them.

  20. Aye! My communications came to you, but you rejected them, and you were proud and you were one of the unbelievers.
