Appears 25 times in the Quran.

  1. (As for) those who swallow the property of the orphans unjustly, surely they only swallow fire into their bellies and they shall enter burning fire.

  2. And whoever does this aggressively and unjustly, We will soon cast him into fire; and this is easy to Allah.

  3. (As for) those who disbelieve in Our communications, We shall make them enter fire; so oft as their skins are thoroughly burned, We will change them for other skins, that they may taste the chastisement; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.

  4. And whoever acts hostilely to the Messenger after that guidance has become manifest to him, and follows other than the way of the believers, We will turn him to that to which he has (himself) turned and make him enter hell; and it is an evil resort.

  5. (Into j hell? They shall enter into it and an evil place it is to settle in.

  6. Whoever desires this present life, We hasten to him therein what We please for whomsoever We desire, then We assign to him the hell; he shall enter it despised, driven away.

  7. Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein.

  8. When Musa said to his family: Surely I see fire; I will bring to you from it some news, or I will bring to you therefrom a burning firebrand so that you may warm yourselves.

  9. So when Musa had fulfilled the term, and he journeyed with his family, he perceived on this side of the mountain a fire. He said to his family: Wait, I have seen a fire, maybe I will bring to you from it some news or a brand of fire, so that you may warm yourselves.

  10. Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.

  11. Save him who will go to hell.

  12. Hell; they shall enter it, so evil is the resting-place.

  13. This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire.

  14. Enter into it, then bear (it) patiently, or do not bear (it) patiently, it is the same to you; you shall be requited only (for) what you did.

  15. And burning in hell.

Have you not seen those who are forbidden secret counsels, then they return to what they are forbidden, and they hold secret counsels for sin and revolt and disobedience to the Messenger, and when they come to you they greet you with a greeting with which Allah does not greet you, and they say in themselves: Why does not Allah punish us for what we say? Hell is enough for them; they shall enter it, and evil is the resort.

  17. Then cast him into the burning fire,

  18. I will cast him into hell.

  19. They shall enter it on the day of judgment.

  20. Then most surely they shall enter the burning fire.

  21. And enter into burning fire.

  22. Who shall enter the great fire;

  23. Entering into burning fire,

  24. None shall enter it but the most unhappy,

  25. He shall soon burn in fire that flames,
