  1. (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have gardens of bliss,

  2. And if We had pleased We would certainly have given to every soul its guidance, but the word (which had gone forth) from Me was just: I will certainly fill hell with the jinn and men together.

  3. As for those who believe and do good, the gardens are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did.

  4. He has forged a lie against Allah or there is madness in him. Nay! those who do not believe in the hereafter are in torment and in great error.

  5. And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month's journey in the morning and a month's journey m the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.

  6. But when We decreed death for him, naught showed them his death but a creature of the earth that ate away his staff; and when it fell down, the jinn came to know plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in abasing torment.

  7. Certainly there was a sign for Saba in their abode; two gardens on the right and the left; eat of the sustenance of your Lord and give thanks to Him: a good land and a Forgiving Lord!

  8. But they turned aside, so We sent upon them a torrent of which the rush could not be withstood, and in place of their two gardens We gave to them two gardens yielding bitter fruit and (growing) tamarisk and a few lote-trees.

  9. They shall say: Glory be to Thee! Thou art our Guardian, not they; nay! they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in them.

  10. Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement.

  11. Gardens of perpetuity, they shall enter therein; they shad be made to wear therein bracelets of gold and pearls, and their dress therein shall be silk.

  12. It was said: Enter the garden. He said: O would that my people had known

  13. And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in it,

  14. Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy.

  15. And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet?

  16. In gardens of pleasure,

  17. And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up;

  18. The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them.

  19. And those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord shall be conveyed to the garden in companies; until when they come to it, and its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Peace be on you, you shall be happy; therefore enter it to abide.

  20. And they shall say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has made good to us His promise, and He has made us inherit the land; we may abide in the garden where we please; so goodly is the reward of the workers.

  21. Our Lord! and make them enter the gardens of perpetuity which Thou hast promised to them and those who do good of their fathers and their wives and their offspring, surely Thou are the Mighty, the Wise.

  22. Whoever does an evil, he shall not be recompensed (with aught) but the like of it, and whoever does good, whether male or female, and he is a believer, these shall enter the garden, in which they shall be given sustenance without measure.

  23. And We have appointed for them comrades so they have made fair-seeming to them what is before them and what is behind them, and the word proved true against them-- among the nations of the jinn and the men that have passed away before them-- that they shall surely be losers.

  24. And those who disbelieve will say: Our Lord! show us those who led us astray from among the jinn and the men that we may trample them under our feet so that they may be of the lowest.

  25. (As for) those who say: Our Lord is Allah, then continue in the right way, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not, nor be grieved, and receive good news of the garden which you were promised.

  26. And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Quran, that you may warn the mother city and those around it, and that you may give warning of the day of gathering together wherein is no doubt; a party shall be in the garden and (another) party in the burning fire.

  27. You will see the unjust fearing on account of what they have earned, and it must befall them; and those who believe and do good shall be in the meadows of the gardens; they shall have what they please with their Lord: that is the great grace.

  28. Enter the garden, you and your wives; you shall be made happy.

  29. And this is the garden which you are given as an inheritance on account of what you did.

  30. Yet they turned their backs on him and said: One taught (by others), a madman.

  31. How many of the gardens and fountains have they left!

  32. In gardens and springs;

  33. These are the dwellers of the garden, abiding therein: a reward for what they did.

  34. These are they from whom We accept the best of what they have done and pass over their evil deeds, among the dwellers of the garden; the promise of truth which they were promised.

  35. These are they against whom the word has proved true among nations of the jinn and the men that have already passed away before them; surely they are losers.

  36. And when We turned towards you a party of the jinn who listened to the Quran; so when they came to it, they said: Be silent; then when it was finished, they turned back to their people warning (them).

  37. And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them.

  38. Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode.

  39. A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.

  40. That He may cause the believing men and the believing women to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein and remove from them their evil; and that is a grand achievement with Allah

  41. There is no harm in the blind, nor is there any harm in the lame, nor is there any harm in the sick (if they do not go forth); and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, and whoever turns back, He will punish him with a painful punishment.

  42. And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped,

  43. And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off:

  44. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains.

  45. But he turned away with his forces and said: A magician or a mad man.

  46. Thus there did not come to those before them a messenger but they said: A magician or a mad man.

  47. And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.

  48. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and bliss

  49. Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman.

  50. Near which is the garden, the place to be resorted to.

  51. Those who keep aloof from the great sins and the indecencies but the passing idea; surely your Lord is liberal in forgiving. He knows you best when He brings you forth from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mothers; therefore do not attribute purity to your souls; He knows him best who guards (against evil).

  52. Before them the people of Nuh rejected, so they rejected Our servant and called (him) mad, and he was driven away.

  53. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers,

  54. And He created the jinn of a flame of fire.

  55. O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority.

  56. So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin.

  57. And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens.

  58. Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach.

  59. In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them.

  60. And besides these two are two (other) gardens:

  61. Man has not touched them before them nor jinni.

  62. In the gardens of bliss.

  63. Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss.

  64. On that day you will see the faithful men and the faithful women-- their light running before them and on their right hand-- good news for you today: gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein, that is the grand achievement.

  65. Hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and to a garden the extensiveness of which is as the extensiveness of the heaven and the earth; it is prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers; that is the grace of Allah: He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.

  66. They make their oaths to serve as a cover so they turn away from Allah's way; therefore they shall have an abasing chastisement.

  67. You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the latter day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their (own) fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk; these are they into whose hearts He has impressed faith, and whom He has strengthened with an inspiration from Him: and He will cause them to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him these are Allah's party: now surely the party of Allah are the successful ones.

  68. Not alike are the inmates of the fire and the dwellers of the garden: the dwellers of the garden are they that are the achievers.

  69. He will forgive you your faults and cause you to enter into gardens, beneath which rivers flow, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetuity; that is the mighty achievement;

  70. They make their oaths a shelter, and thus turn away from Allah's way; surely evil is that which they do.

  71. On the day that He will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will remove from him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the great achievement.

  72. An Messenger who recites to you the clear communications of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from darkness into light; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers now, to abide therein forever, Allah has indeed given him a goodly sustenance.

  73. O you who believe! turn to Allah a sincere turning; maybe your Lord will remove from you your evil and cause you to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day on which Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him; their light shall run on before them and on their right hands; they shall say: Our Lord! make perfect for us our light, and grant us protection, surely Thou hast power over all things.

  74. And Allah sets forth an example to those who believe the wife of Firon when she said: My Lord! build for me a house with Thee in the garden and deliver me from Firon and his doing, and deliver me from the unjust people:

  75. By the grace of your Lord you are not mad.

  76. Surely We will try them as We tried the owners of the garden, when they swore that they would certainly cut off the produce in the morning,

  77. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss.

  78. And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. Those who disbelieved show their ridicule in their eyes when they hear the message and say, "He is crazy!"

  79. In a lofty garden,

  80. Those shall be in gardens, honored.

  81. Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss?

  82. And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers.

  83. Say: It has been revealed to me that a party of the jinn listened, and they said: Surely we have heard a wonderful Quran,

  84. And that we thought that men and jinn did not utter a lie against Allah:

  85. And that persons from among men used to seek refuge with persons from among jinn, so they increased them in wrongdoing:

  86. In gardens, they shall ask each other

  87. And reward them, because they were patient, with garden and silk,

  88. And gardens dense and luxuriant.

  89. Then surely the garden-- that is the abode.

  90. And when the garden is brought nigh,

  91. And your companion is not gone mad.

  92. Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement.

  93. In a lofty garden,

  94. And enter into My garden.

  95. Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein for ever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord.
