2:179 وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

And there is life for you in (the law of) retaliation, O men of understanding, that you may guard yourselves.
