  1. The way (to blame) is only against those who oppress men and revolt in the earth unjustly; these shall have a painful punishment.

  2. And were it not that all people had been a single nation, We would certainly have assigned to those who disbelieve in the Beneficent Allah (to make) of silver the roofs of their houses and the stairs by which they ascend.

  3. That shall overtake men; this is a painful punishment.

  4. These are clear proofs for men, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who are sure.

  5. Say: Allah gives you life, then He makes you die, then will He gather you to the day of resurrection wherein is no doubt, but most people do not know.

  6. And when men are gathered together they shall be their enemies, and shall be deniers of their worshipping (them).

  7. That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and have given them their dowries, taking (them) in marriage, not fornicating nor taking them for paramours in secret; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.

  8. Allah promised you many acquisitions which you will take, then He hastened on this one for you and held back the hands of men from you, and that it may be a sign for the believers and that He may guide you on a right path.

  9. O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.

  10. Tearing men away as if they were the trunks of palm-trees torn up.

  11. Those who are niggardly and enjoin niggardliness on men; and whoever turns back, then surely Allah is He Who is the Selfsufficient, the Praised.

  12. Certainly We sent Our messengers with clear arguments, and sent down with them the Book and the balance that men may conduct themselves with equity; and We have made the iron, wherein is great violence and advantages to men, and that Allah may know who helps Him and His messengers in the secret; surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.

  13. Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.

  14. Say: O you who are Jews, if you think that you are the favorites of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then invoke death If you are truthful.

  15. O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.

  16. Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully,

  17. The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds?

  18. On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works.

  19. The day on which men shall be as scattered moths,

  20. And you see men entering the religion of Allah in companies,

  21. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,

  22. The King of men,

  23. The god of men,

  24. Who whispers into the hearts of men,

  25. From among the jinn and the men.
