  1. And goodly things wherein they rejoiced;

  2. And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases Thee and do good to me in respect of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit.

  3. Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode.

  4. That Allah may forgive your community their past faults and those to follow and complete His favor to you and keep you on a right way,

  5. By grace from Allah and as a favor; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

  6. And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out.

  7. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and bliss

  8. Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman.

  9. A favor from Us; thus do We reward him who gives thanks.

  11. Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss.

  12. By the grace of your Lord you are not mad.

  13. Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss.

  14. Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed.

  15. Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss?

  16. And leave Me and the rejecters, the possessors of ease and plenty, and respite them a little.

  17. And when you see there, you shall see blessings and a great kingdom.

  18. So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things).

  19. A provision for you and for your cattle.

  21. Most surely the righteous are in bliss,

  22. Most surely the righteous shall be in bliss,

  23. You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss.

  24. (Other) faces on that day shall be happy,

  25. And as for man, when his Lord tries him, then treats him with honor and makes him lead an easy life, he says: My Lord honors me.

  26. And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded,

  27. And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it).

  28. Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons.
