  1. He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse.

  2. You shall believe in Allah and His Messenger, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, did you but know!

  8. That is because there came to them their messengers with clear arguments, but they said: Shall mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned back, and Allah does not stand in need (of anything), and Allah is Self-sufficient, Praised.

  9. Therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Light which We have revealed; and Allah is Aware of what you do.

  10. And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn back, then upon Our Messenger devolves only the clear delivery (of the message).

  11. And how many a town which rebelled against the commandment of its Lord and His messengers, so We called it to account severely and We chastised it (with) a stern chastisement.

An Messenger who recites to you the clear communications of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from darkness into light; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers now, to abide therein forever, Allah has indeed given him a goodly sustenance.

  13. Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning.

  16. Surely We sent Nuh to his people, saying: Warn your people before there come upon them a painful chastisement.

  17. He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain:

  18. (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time.

  19. Except to him whom He chooses as a messenger; for surely He makes a guard to march before him and after him,

  20. So that He may know that they have truly delivered the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and He records the number of all things.

  21. Surely We have sent to you a Messenger, a witness against you, as We sent a messenger to Firon.

  22. But Firon disobeyed the messenger, so We laid on him a violent hold.

  23. I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit),

  24. And when the messengers are gathered at their appointed time
