كَذَّبُوا۟

  1. And (as to) those who disbelieve in and reject My communications, they are the inmates of the fire, in it they shall abide.

  2. Like the striving of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected Our communications, so Allah destroyed them on account of their faults; and Allah is severe in requiting (evil).

  3. And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject our communications, these are the companions of the name.

  4. Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them messengers; whenever there came to them an messenger with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew.

  5. And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the companions of the flame.

  6. So they have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them; therefore the truth of what they mocked at will shine upon them.

  7. They are losers indeed who reject the meeting of Allah; until when the hour comes upon them all of a sudden they shall say: O our grief for our neglecting it! and they shall bear their burdens on their backs; now surely evil is that which they bear.

  8. And they who reject Our communications are deaf and dumb, in utter darkness; whom Allah pleases He causes to err and whom He pleases He puts on the right way.

  9. And (as for) those who reject Our communications, chastisement shall afflict them because they transgressed.

  10. Say: Bring your witnesses who should bear witness that Allah has forbidden this, then if they bear witness, do not bear witness with them; and follow not the low desires of those who reject Our communications and of those who do not believe in the hereafter, and they make (others) equal to their Lord.

  11. And (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily-- these are the inmates of the fire they shall abide in it.

  12. Surely (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily, the doors of heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter the garden until the camel pass through the eye of the needle; and thus do We reward the guilty.

  13. But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people.

  14. So We delivered him and those with him by mercy from Us, and We cut off the last of those who rejected Our communications and were not believers.

  15. Those who called Shu'aib a liar were as though they had never dwelt therein; those who called Shu'aib a liar, they were the losers.

  16. And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so We overtook them for what they had earned.

  17. These towns-- We relate to you some of their stories, and certainly their messengers came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they rejected at first; thus does Allah set a seal over the hearts of the unbelievers

  18. Therefore We inflicted retribution on them and drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and were heedless of them.

  19. I will turn away from My communications those who are unjustly proud in the earth; and if they see every sign they will not believe in It; and if they see the way of rectitude they do not take It for a way, and if they see the way of error. they take it for a way; this is because they rejected Our communications and were heedless of them.

  20. And (as to) those who reject Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, their deeds are null. Shall they be rewarded except for what they have done?

  21. And if We had pleased, We would certainly have exalted him thereby; but he clung to the earth and followed his low desire, so his parable is as the parable of the dog; if you attack him he lolls out his tongue; and if you leave him alone he lolls out his tongue; this is the parable of the people who reject Our communications; therefore relate the narrative that they may reflect.

  22. Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our communications and are unjust to their own souls.

  23. And (as to) those who reject Our communications, We draw them near (to destruction) by degrees from whence they know not.

  24. In the manner of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected the communications of their Lord, therefore We destroyed them on account of their faults and We drowned Firon's people, and they were all unjust.

  25. Nay, they reject that of which they have no comprehensive knowledge, and the final sequel of it has not yet come to them; even thus did those before them reject (the truth); see then what was the end of the unjust.

  26. And on the day when He will gather them as though they had not stayed but an hour of the day, they will know each other. They will perish indeed who called the meeting with Allah to be a lie, and they are not followers of the right direction.

  27. But they rejected him, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We made them rulers and drowned those who rejected Our communications; see then what was the end of the (people) warned.

  28. Then did We raise up after him messengers to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they had rejected before; thus it is that We set seals upon the hearts of those who exceed the limits.

  29. And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers.

  30. And We helped him against the people who rejected Our communications; surely they were an evil people, so We drowned them all.

  31. And (as for) those who disbelieve in and reject Our communications, these it is who shall have a disgraceful chastisement.

  32. And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink.

  33. But they reject the hour, and We have prepared a burning fire for him who rejects the hour.

  34. Then We said: Go you both to the people who rejected Our communications; so We destroyed them with utter destruction.

  35. And the people of Nuh, when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and made them a sign for men, and We have prepared a painful punishment for the unjust;

  36. So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them.

  37. Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they | rejected the communications of Allah and used to mock them.

  38. And as to those who disbelieved and rejected Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, these shall be brought over to the chastisement.

  39. And those before them rejected (the truth), and these have not yet attained a tenth of what We gave them, but they gave the lie to My messengers, then how was the manifestation of My disapproval?

  40. Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Messenger; but they shall soon come to know,

  41. Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion.

  42. And they call (it) a lie, and follow their low desires; and every affair has its appointed term.

  43. Before them the people of Nuh rejected, so they rejected Our servant and called (him) mad, and he was driven away.

  44. They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One.

  45. And (as for) those who believe in Allah and His messengers, these it is that are the truthful and the faithful ones in the sight of their Lord: they shall have their reward and their light, and (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the inmates of the hell.

  46. The likeness of those who were charged with the Taurat, then they did not observe it, is as the likeness of the ass bearing books, evil is the likeness of the people who reject the communications of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

  47. And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, they are the inmates of the fire, to abide therein and evil is the resort.

  48. And called Our communications a lie, giving the lie (to the truth).
