جَعَلْنَٰهُ

Appears 14 times in the Quran. (Root: جعل)
  1. And if We had made him angel, We would certainly have made him a man, and We would certainly have made confused to them what they make confused.

  2. And We gave Musa the Book and made it a guidance to the children of Israel, saying: Do not take a protector besides Me;

  3. Surely (as for) those who disbelieve, and hinder (men) from Allah's way and from the Sacred Mosque which We have made equally for all men, (for) the dweller therein and (for) the visitor, and whoever shall incline therein to wrong unjustly, We will make him taste of a painful chastisement.

  4. Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place,

  5. And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust.

  6. And certainly We gave the Book to Musa, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel.

  7. And if We had made it a Quran in a foreign tongue, they would certainly have said: Why have not its communications been made clear? What! a foreign (tongue) and an Arabian! Say: It is to those who believe a guidance and a healing; and (as for) those who do not believe, there is a heaviness in their ears and it is obscure to them; these shall be called to from a far-off place.

  8. And thus did We reveal to you an inspired book by Our command. You did not know what the Book was, nor (what) the faith (was), but We made it a light, guiding thereby whom We please of Our servants; and most surely you show the way to the right path:

  9. Surely We have made it an Arabic Quran that you may understand.

  10. He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel.

  11. If We pleased, We should have certainly made it broken down into pieces, then would you begin tb lament:

  12. If We pleased, We would have made it salty; why do you not then give thanks?

  13. Surely We have created man from a small life-germ uniting (itself): We mean to try him, so We have made him hearing, seeing.

  14. Then We placed it in a secure resting-place,
