نَعْلَمُ

Appears 7 times in the Quran. (Root: علم)
  1. And that He might know the hypocrites; and it was said to them: Come, fight in Allah's way, or defend yourselves. They said: If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you. They were on that day much nearer to unbelief than to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and Allah best knows what they conceal.

  2. We know indeed that what they say certainly grieves you, but surely they do not call you a liar; but the unjust deny the communications of Allah.

  3. And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say;

  4. And certainly We know that they say: Only a mortal teaches him. The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue.

  5. Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly.

  6. And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein.

  7. And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters.
