عَمِلَ

Appears 18 times in the Quran. (Root: عمل)
  1. Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the f Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.

  2. Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.

  3. And when those who believe in Our communications come to you, say: Peace be on you, your Lord has ordained mercy on Himself, (so) that if any one of you does evil in ignorance, then turns after that and acts aright, then He is Forgiving, Merciful.

  4. Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.

  5. And as for him who believes and does good, he shall have goodly reward, and We will speak to him an easy word of Our command.

  6. Except such as repent and believe and do good, these shall enter the garden, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly in any way:

  7. And whoever comes to Him a believer (and) he has done good deeds indeed, these it is who shall have the high ranks,

  8. And most surely I am most Forgiving to him who repents and believes and does good, then continues to follow the right direction.

  9. Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

  10. And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning.

  11. But as to him who repents and believes and does good, maybe he will be among the successful:

  12. And those who were given the knowledge said: Woe to you! Allah's reward is better for him who believes and does good, and none is made to receive this except the patient.

  13. Whoever disbelieves, he shall be responsible for his disbelief, and whoever does good, they prepare (good) for their own souls,

  14. And not your wealth nor your children, are the things which bring you near Us in station, but whoever believes and does good, these it is for whom is a double reward for what they do, and they shall be secure in the highest places.

  15. Whoever does an evil, he shall not be recompensed (with aught) but the like of it, and whoever does good, whether male or female, and he is a believer, these shall enter the garden, in which they shall be given sustenance without measure.

  16. And who speaks better than he who calls to Allah while he himself does good, and says: I am surely of those who submit?

  17. Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against it; and your Lord is not in the least unjust to the servants.

  18. Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against himself; then you shall be brought back to your-- Lord.
