  1. And thus do We make distinct the communications and so that the way of the guilty may become clear.

  2. But if they give you the lie, then say: Your Lord is the Lord of All-encompassing mercy; and His punishment cannot be averted from the guilty people.

  3. Surely (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily, the doors of heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter the garden until the camel pass through the eye of the needle; and thus do We reward the guilty.

  4. And We rained upon them a rain; consider then what was the end of the guilty.

  5. Therefore We sent upon them widespread death, and the locusts and the lice and the frog and the blood, clear signs; but they behaved haughtily and they were a guilty people.

  6. That He may manifest the truth of what was true and show the falsehood of what was false, though the guilty disliked.

  7. Do not make excuses; you have denied indeed after you had believed; if We pardon a party of you, We will chastise (another) party because they are guilty.

  8. And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their messengers had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do We recompense the guilty people.

  9. Who is then more unjust than who forges a lie against Allah or (who) gives the lie to His communications? Surely the guilty shall not be successful.

  10. Say: Tell me if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day! what then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on?

  11. Then did We send up after them Musa and Haroun to Firon and his chiefs with Our signs, but they showed pride and they were a guilty people.

  12. And Allah will show the truth to be the truth by His words, though the guilty may be averse (to it).

  13. And, O my people! ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him; He will send on you clouds pouring down abundance of rain and add strength to your strength, and do not turn back guilty.

  14. But why were there not among the generations before you those possessing understanding, who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? And those who were unjust went after what they are made to enjoy of plenty, and they were guilty.

  15. Until when the messengers despaired and the people became sure that they were indeed told a lie, Our help came to them and whom We pleased was delivered; and Our punishment is not averted from the guilty people.

  16. And you will see the guilty on that day linked together in chains.

  17. Thus do We make it to enter into the hearts of the guilty;

  18. They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people,

  19. And the Book shall be placed, then you will see the guilty fearing from what is in it, and they will say: Ah! woe to us! what a book is this! it does not omit a small one nor a great one, but numbers them (all); and what they had done they shall find present (there); and your Lord does not deal unjustly with anyone.

  20. And the guilty shall see the fire, then they shall know that they are going to fall into it, and they shall not find a place to which to turn away from it.

  21. And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty

  22. Whoever comes to his Lord (being) guilty, for him is surely hell; he shall not die therein, nor shall he live.

  23. On the day when the trumpet shall be blown, and We will gather the guilty, blue-eyed, on that day

  24. On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited.

  25. And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.

  26. And none but the guilty led us astray;

  27. Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty.

  28. Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty.

  29. He said: My Lord! because Thou hast bestowed a favor on me, I shall never be a backer of the guilty.

  30. He said: I have been given this only on account of the knowledge I have. Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations those who were mightier in strength than he and greater in assemblage? And the guilty shall not be asked about their faults.

  31. And at the time when the hour shall come the guilty shall be in despair.

  32. And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away.

  33. And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! we have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain.

  34. And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the communications of his Lord, then he turns away from them? Surely We will give punishment to the guilty.

  35. Those who were proud shall say to those who were deemed weak: Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you (yourselves) were guilty

  36. And get aside today, O guilty ones!

  37. Surely thus do We deal with the guilty.

  38. Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell.

  39. Then he called upon his Lord: These are a guilty people.

  40. Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.

  41. As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people.

  42. Destroying everything by the command of its Lord, so they became such that naught could be seen except their dwellings. Thus do We reward the guilty people.

  43. They said: Surely we are sent to a guilty people,

  44. Surely the guilty are in error and distress.

  45. The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

  46. This is the hell which the guilty called a lie.

  47. What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty?

  48. (Though) they shall be made to see each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children,

  49. About the guilty:

  50. Even thus shall We deal with the guilty.

  51. Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little; surely you are guilty.
