عِندهُۥٓ

Appears 7 times in the Quran. (Root: عند)
  1. Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great.

  2. And know that your property and your children are a temptation, and that Allah is He with Whom there is a mighty reward.

  3. Abiding therein for ever; surely Allah has a Mighty reward with Him.

  4. He said: Allah protect us that we should seize other than him with whom we found our property, for then most surely we would be unjust.

  5. Allah makes to pass away and establishes what He pleases, and with Him is the basis of the Book.

  6. And intercession will not avail aught with Him save of him whom He permits. Until when fear shall be removed from their hearts, They shall say: What is it that your Lord said? They shall say: The truth. And He is the Most High, the Great.

  7. Your possessions and your children are only a trial, and Allah it is with Whom is a great reward.
