أَنزَلْنَٰهُ

Appears 14 times in the Quran. (Root: نزل)
  1. And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed, verifying that which is before it, and that you may warn the metropolis and those around her; and those who believe in the hereafter believe in it, and they attend to their prayers constantly.

  2. And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed; therefore follow it and guard (against evil) that mercy may be shown to you.

  3. The likeness of this world's life is only as water which We send down from the cloud, then the herbage of the earth of which men and cattle eat grows luxuriantly thereby, until when the earth puts on its golden raiment and it becomes garnished, and its people think that they have power over it, Our command comes to it, by night or by day, so We render it as reaped seed; produce, as though it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do We make clear the communications for a people who reflect.

  4. Surely We have revealed it-- an Arabic Quran-- that you may understand.

  5. And thus have We revealed it, a true judgment in Arabic, and if you follow their low desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you shall not have against Allah any guardian or a protector.

  6. Alif Lam Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring forth men, by their Lord's permission from utter darkness into light-- to the way of the Mighty, the Praised One,

  7. And with truth have We revealed it, and with truth did it come; and We have not sent you but as the giver of good news and as a warner.

  8. And set forth to them parable of the life of this world: like water which We send down from the cloud so the herbage of the earth becomes tangled on account of it, then it becomes dry broken into pieces which the winds scatter; and Allah is the holder of power over all things.

  9. And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard (against evil) or that it may produce a reminder for them.

  10. And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it?

  11. And thus have We revealed it, being clear arguments, and because Allah guides whom He intends.

  12. (It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful.

  13. Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning--

  14. Surely We revealed it on the grand night.
