سَبِّحْ

Appears 11 times in the Quran. (Root: سبح)
  1. He said: My Lord! appoint a sign for me. Said He: Your sign is that you should not speak to men for three days except by signs; and remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and the morning.

  2. Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance.

  3. Bear then patiently what they say, and glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased

  4. And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants,

  5. Therefore be patient; surely the promise of Allah is true; and ask protection for your fault and sing the praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

  6. Therefore be patient of what they say, and sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.

  7. And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise;

  8. Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

  9. Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

  10. Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

  11. Then celebrate the praise of your Lord, and ask His forgiveness; surely He is oft-returning (to mercy).
