كَرِهَ

Appears 8 times in the Quran. (Root: كره)
  1. That He may manifest the truth of what was true and show the falsehood of what was false, though the guilty disliked.

  2. They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, and Allah will not consent save to perfect His light, though the unbelievers are averse.

  3. He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse.

  4. And if they had intended to go forth, they would certainly have provided equipment for it, but Allah did not like their going forth, so He withheld them, and it was said (to them): Hold back with those who hold back.

  5. And Allah will show the truth to be the truth by His words, though the guilty may be averse (to it).

  6. Therefore call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, though the unbelievers are averse:
