يَجْعَلُ

Appears 8 times in the Quran. (Root: جعل)
  1. And when a communication comes to them they say: We will not believe till we are given the like of what Allah's messengers are given. Allah best knows where He places His message. There shall befall those who are guilty humiliation from Allah and severe chastisement because of what they planned.

  2. Therefore (for) whomsoever Allah intends that He would guide him aright, He expands his breast for Islam, and (for) whomsoever He intends that He should cause him to err, He makes his breast strait and narrow as though he were ascending upwards; thus does Allah lay uncleanness on those who do not believe.

  3. And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand.

  4. Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for t them will Allah bring about love.

  5. Or He makes them of both sorts, male and female; and He makes whom He pleases barren; surely He is the Knowing, the Powerful.

  6. Let him who has abundance spend out of his abundance and whoever has his means of subsistence straitened to him, let him spend out of that which Allah has given him; Allah does not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent to which He has granted it; Allah brings about ease after difficulty.

  7. Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term:

  8. How, then, will you guard yourselves, if you disbelieve, on the day which shall make children grey-headed?
